(a) What is the viscosity of the sample?
(b) Determine the values of the model parameters that represent the sedimentviscous properties if it is represented by (1) the power law model or (2) theBingham plastic model.
(c) What would the flow rate of the sediment be (in cm3/s) in a 2 cm diametertube, 50m long, that is subjected to a differential pressure driving force of 25psi (1) assuming that the power law model applies? (2) assuming that theBingham plastic model applies? Which of these two answers do you think isbest, and why?
