Compton scattering
A photon that strikes a free electron gets scattered off the free electron , instead of being completely obsorbed . Why does it have to happen الثاني In a Compton scattering event , why does the scattered photon always have a longer wavelength than the incident photon |
Answer First question: because photon has a particle aspect Second question: because they lose some of their own energy and energy is inversely proportional to wavelength. |

Under what conditions will you observe the maximum shift in wavelength for photon that is scattered from a free electron كمان اخوي عندي استفسار عن Compton scattering conservation of momentum معادلة هي P^2=pf^2+pi^2-2pf pi cos انا عملت ضرب scaler هل طريقة صحيح |
