You can say: The voltage drops because the voltage devided in series circuit cause all resistances will take its part of it. Although in parallel circuit will not devided

Sure in parallel way
because if it's in series way that means if there is any defect at any point of electric circuit that will close all houses electric. But in parallel way will not effect on the circuit of house electric.
