Two cylindrical wires of radius R, each carry a uniformly distributed steady current I. The two wires have an overlapping region which is hollow. The cross section of the two-wire arrangement looks like two overlapping circles. The two wires carry opposite currents. Find the magnetic field B⃗ (in magnitude and direction) in this overlapping region and show that it is constant.
