centrifugal force
an imaginary force, acting in the opposite direction to the centripetal force. It is needed to make an object moving in a circle at constant speed appear to be in equilibrium. Such an object is not really in equilibrium, as its velocity is changing.

centripetal acceleration
if something has centripetal acceleration it means that it's moving with constant speed around a circle and is always accelerating toward the center
