I have posted this solution depending a graph i've imagined in my mind so if you have the diagram please post it so i can check if my answer is correct or not


Block 1
mass=5.00 kg
Fnet=m1a=Tension

Block 2
mass=9.00kg
Fnet=-m2a=Tension-m2g (the -a because the block is accelerating down

Plug T=m1a into the 2nd equation

-m2a=m1a - m2g
Plug in values
-9a=5a - 9*9.8
a=6.3 m/s/s

Then using 1st equation ( or 2nd but 1st is much easier)
m1a=T
5*6.3=T
31.5N = T
